Bude defence had to soak up lots of pressure and soon Caradon doubled their lead.
Bude could not get into the game throughout the first half and Caradon had numerous opportunities to extend their lead, one coming from a penalty flick which Gemma Smith saved.
Bude went into half time knowing they had to improve 100% if they were to get anything from the game.
A stern talking from Keith Taylor seemed to do the trick as Bude came out in the second half a much better team. They were quicker to every ball and started to play nice fluent hockey.
Bude pulled a goal back through Leanne Stanbury. Bude knew they were in with a chance now and played the ball from left to right with Lillie Latter, Leanne, Tammy Snowsill, Robyn Pengilly and Emily Horn controlling the midfield.
Bude got the equaliser when they linked 20 passes together and Tammy placed the ball beyond the 'keeper.
The game was now end to end but the defence of Miranda Pomeroy, Lotte Davies, Emily Youldon and Gemma kept Caradon at bay.
Bude were reduced to ten five minutes to go but did not panic and kept their composure to earn themselves a well earned point.
