SCOUTS in Teignbridge have become the first in Devon and Cornwall to gain a newly relaunched police Cub Scout badge.
More than 30 Scouts from Highweek and Kingskerswell studied personal safety and detective skills to earn the restored Devon and Cornwall Police badge.
Although first available some years ago, it was not being awarded very often.
