Three Tenby schools enjoyed a fun day of science and exploration.
Manorbier, Sageston and St. Florence Year 3 pupils enjoyed woodland adventures, pond dipping, and a laboratory session with internationally-renowned researcher Professor Tony Campbell.
The event took place at the professor's house, Welston Court, Milton.
The three schools have been coming to Welston for nine years as part of a science challenge day.
Each year, the group of youngsters that are the most engaged, ask the most testing questions, and get the most stuck in, win the Welston Challenge - this year the honours went to the class from Sageston.
Darwin Centre director, Marten Lewis, said: "The Welston Challenge is a unique event in our calendar; it's a wonderful opportunity for young people to meet and learn from a scientist of international standing. I have spoken to students studying A-Levels now that remember the Welston Challenge fondly.
"It's an inspirational event, and it's great to be able to offer such amazing opportunities as this, as part of the wider Dragon LNG Darwin Experience. The 10 years support of Dragon LNG is fundamental to the ability of the Darwin Centre to engage with around 3,000 young people in Pembrokeshire each year."
