Across the Post area local hunt groups met on Boxing Day.

Operating within the confines of the Hunting Act 2004, the day consisted of a combination of hound exercise and trail hunting.

Pre-laid scent trails were put in place ahead of the ride outs, and members of all ages joined their local events.

East Cornwall Hunt set off from their new starting ground just down the road from Jamaica Inn, Bolventor, while North Cornwall Hunt started at the other end near Camelford and rode out and across Bodmin Moor, passing Roughtor on the way home.

Across the border in Devon, the South Tetcott Hunt met at the Village Inn in Ashwater before setting off along their pre-laid trail.
