RGB Building Supplies said it is 'keen' to offer further apprenticeship opportunities — a relatively new venture for the business.
Apprenticeships have recently undergone a resurgence and with National Apprenticeship Week taking place until Friday, March 13, RGB Building Supplies said it is 'delighted' to announce that, due to the success of the current apprentices, they are something that will receive further investment.
Ryan Leach, aged 19, is currently working at RGB's Holsworthy branch and is one and a half years into his two and a half year apprenticeship.
Ryan has also spent time at the Hatherleigh, Crediton and Okehampton branches, taking on a number of different tasks.
He said: "At Holsworthy I'm currently working in the yard, which is really helping me learn the vast amount of products that RGB stock, but I have also had experience of working in customer service and have achieved my fork lift licence.
"I'm really keen to work in the shop a bit more and use the knowledge I've gained to have more interaction with the customers, as this is an aspect I enjoy."
