BURDON Grange Care Home in Highampton held another successful Ruby Weekend on June 8 and 9 with all the residents and staff participating in some way.

On the Saturday, the residents were joined by a large number of staff and their friends and family for the 'Ruby Ramble' — the four miles sponsored walk .

Walkers started at the Highampton end of the Ruby Trail and when they reached the half way point at Running Moor, they enjoyed refreshments and encouragement from Richard and Pam Whiterow before heading back towards Church Road.
