CORNWALL Council have announced that rubbish collections will remain as normal over the bank holiday weekend across the region.

Rubbish, recycling and food waste collection services will be picked up as normal on Monday, May 6.

Local residents who are due a collection are encouraged to put their bins out before 7am.

All household waste and recycling centres in Cornwall will be open on Monday at the normal times.
