A popular Bude cafe which was hit by a fire in January has confirmed details of when it will be reopening.
Rosie’s Kitchen, in Bude, was forced to temporarily close at the start of January after a fire hit its kitchen - an incident the venue’s management has now described as deliberate arson.
They’ve announced that the beach cafe is set to reopen in mid-March and have promised customers a fresh new look and menu, while promising that this will be in addition to the ‘old favourites’.
Announcing the news, a spokesperson for Rosie’s wrote on their Facebook page: “Hey Bude and beyond! Sorry, we’ve been so quiet on our socials, as you can imagine we have been very busy sorting out the fire damage. Good vibes and great food are just around the corner! We’ve been working super hard behind the scenes to bring you a better Rosie’s than ever!”
Confirming that the incident was a deliberate arson attack, the spokesperson continued: “We’re thrilled to announce that Rosie’s Kitchen, your favourite beach cafe, is reopening mid-March with a fresh new look and menu! We’ve been working hard with the insurers and the forensic fire investigators who confirmed a deliberate arson attack.
“Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with our spectacular new menu offerings! Don’t worry, all your favourite dishes, drinks & faces will still be here! We really can’t wait to see you all again; it’s been too long!”
