Drivers will be left looking for alternative routes later this month as road works are scheduled between Kelly Bray and Launceston.

Between November 27 and December 2, a five mile stretch of the A388 will be closed to allow for road maintenance works to take place.

The closure is marked between the A388 between Penpill and Launceston Road, and the A388 between the junction North -West of Monks Hill to Penpill. 

The five day closure will be in place between 19.00 and 06.00. A diversion which has been put in place will see drivers travel more than 10 miles, as they pass through Coad’s Green, past Lewannick before joining the A30, turning around and eventually entering Launceston.
