LAKEFIELD Equestrian Centre, in Camelford, hosted the South-West regional competition for RDA (Riding for the Disabled) with many competitors from North Cornwall's group qualifying for the national competition in Hartpury.
An opportunity for some to compete at a national level alongside hundreds of other competitors.
RDA delivers opportunities, therapy and a sense of achievement to a wide variety of people with disabilities. For many, the physical benefits of improving posture through the movement of the horse are equalled to "the experience of being free and in control".
