AFTER 26 years of service, dedication and commitment to the Bude community, on Wednesday, March 31, the local fire station said farewell to Matt Wonnacott who left the crew at 7.3 Bude.

Matt joined the Bude team in 1995 and has spent the majority of his time serving as part of the management team, alongside providing other valuable duties, such as being one of the appliance drivers.

A spokesperson from Bude Community Fire Station said: “From all of us on the team, enjoy your retirement Wonny — you deserve it!”
