Residents of a property in St. James Street, Narberth, were evacuated on Sunday evening following a gas leak caused by a road traffic collision.
The collision, which occurred at 10.58 pm, involved one unattended vehicle which drove into a private residence and damaged a gas pipe.
Firefighters from the town attended and responded by vacating all residents from the property, following which they used a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the house.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Services worked with the police and Wales and West Utilities to make the house safe for its residents to return by 12.30 am.
A Wales and West Utilities spokesman said: "We were called to the scene of a road traffic accident by the emergency services late on Sunday evening. Our team found that the gas supply to number 64 had been damaged at the point that it entered the property. We were able to cut the gas supply off to make it safe, and carried out a repair to the gas pipe.
"Keeping people safe is our number one priority and if anyone smells gas, thinks they have a gas leak, or suspects carbon monoxide poisoning, they should call us immediately on 0800 111 999 and our engineers will be there to help, day or night."
