THE Red Arrows may have missed their target by failing to fly directly over the Festival Arena but they still made a stunning impact as they sped across the skies over Whitehill and Bordon on Saturday.

The Farewell Festival, offering family fun at Bordon's Budds Lane Sports Field, followed the morning's freedom of the town and flag-raising ceremony at which thousands watched as the soldiers marched for the last time in the town.
