POLICE are renewing their appeal to trace missing Lydney man Stephen Midwinter.

The 64-year-old, who suffers from memory problems and can struggle to communicate, went missing on Friday, May 8.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall and scruffy-looking with long, 'scraggly' greying hair and a grey beard. He was wearing a blue jacket, cream jumper and dark jeans and rides a dark racing-style bike.

He was possibly seen riding his bike from Lydney towards Aylburton on Saturday (May 9).

Officers are particularly concerned as it is believed Stephen is carrying very little money.

Anyone who thinks they have seen him is urged to call 101 or 999 if appropriate straight away, quoting incident 418 of May 8.
