THE Railway Inn has retained the title 'CAMRA Best Cider Pub in Gloucestershire 2015' for the third consecutive year.
The Newnham pub will progress to regional finals and hopes to emulate the success they had in 2013 when they scooped 'CAMRA Best Cider Pub in the South West'.
CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale is an independent, voluntary organisation campaigning for real ale, community pubs and consumer rights.
Landlord David Price, who has run the pub since 2004, said: "The award criteria set by CAMRA includes quality of cider and perry, atmosphere, level of service, value for money and community focus.
"The staff knowledge about the product (cider) they are selling has been a key factor for the Railway in impressing the judges year after year."
