TREBURLEY Social Club held a race night on Saturday, October 22 with the proceeds being shared with Launceston Community Fire Station.
In total, £1,050 was raised, which will be shared equally.
Everyone that attended had an enjoyable evening betting and watching the racing, enjoying the homemade pasties, a selection of cheese and biscuits and homemade cakes during the break.
The fire station donation of £525 will be spent on events and items at the Launceston Community Fire Station, and the club wish all the fire crews well and thank them for their hard and difficult work they do for the local community.
Treburley Social Club will be putting their £525 towards general up keep of the club.
They have been refurbishing their premises over the last four years by improving the facilities, which has made the club an inviting place to visit.
Open seven nights a week, the club offers drinks at competitive prices, and the facilities to play skittles, pool and darts or have a relaxing drink.
Thanks were expressed to all the race sponsors, people who bought horses, helpers on the night and all who attended in making it very enjoyable evening.
Sylvia Yeo presented the cheque on behalf of the club to Kevin Gregory at the fire station.
