CAMELFORD Rocks is urging local people in and around the town to get involved with an important event this Remembrance Day.

The project, which sees people paint rocks and hide them around their town for other people to find and re-hide, is hoping to see lots of people in Camelford paint ‘poppy rocks’ and hide them around the town, in an aim to support the cause this November.

This is part of a national event, but organisers are hoping to see people ‘do their bit’ for Camelford and the surrounding areas, in memory of those who have fought, sacrificed their lives and been affected by war.

Remembrance Day takes place on Saturday, November 11 this year, followed by Remembrance Sunday on November 12.
