POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a potentially life-threatening collision near Holsworthy.  

The collision, which took place on the A3072, at around 8.45pm on June 5 involved a silver Mercedes.  

Officers were called to the incident by the ambulance service. The driver of the Mercedes was taken to Derriford Hospital having sustained injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.  

The road was closed for a number of hours while investigation work took place.
