AN APPEAL for information has been launched after a hit-and-run collision left a female pedestrian with serious injuries.
Police were called to the incident on Hendrawalls Lane in Davidstow at around 8.15am on Saturday, June 29.
It is reported that a pedestrian was stuck by a vehicle, which failed to stop at the scene. She was later taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle involved has not yet been identified, and police are seeking witnesses to the incident who could help with enquiries.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision on Hendrawalls Lane in Davidstow.
“The incident occurred at around 8.15am on Saturday, June 29 where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, which failed to stop at the scene.
“The female pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The vehicle involved has not been located and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area and have dash-cam or witnessed anything that may assist us, to get in touch.
“Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact us via 101 quoting log 210 of 29/6/24.”
