AN APPEAL has been launched for information on the whereabouts of a Tintagel woman missing for nearly a month.
Jodie Betts, 47, was last seen on July 22 in the Tintagel area.
Police believe that Ms Betts could be in the Leicester area and are concerned for her welfare. They have issued a description of her appearance, and have asked anyone who sees her to contact 999, quoting log number 412 of August 7, 2024.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are concerned for the welfare of 47-year-old Jodie Betts who has been reported missing from the Tintagel area and last seen on July 22.
“Jodie is described as a white female, five feet, four inches in height, of medium to stocky build, brown eyes, with greying brown hair - which is a couple of inches in length, missing a front left bottom tooth, and normally wears Doc Martens shoes/boots, bomber jacket and cargo trousers.
“Jodie is possibly in the Leicester area.
“If you have seen Jodie, or know of her whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999 quoting log number 412 of the 7 August.”
