Pre-application advice is being sought for an open market residential development of five detached houses on land at Rockhead, Delabole.
The land comprises a section of very gently sloping agricultural land currently in permanent pasture. It adjoins residential development to the south west (Higher Meadrose) and further residential development along Rockhead Street to the north east. The properties would have sufficient space for parking, garaging, gardens, amenity space and drainage.
An accompanying planning statement from Kivells added: “Instructions have been received from Mr and Mrs I Davey to submit a pre-application advice request to Cornwall Council (LPA) in relation to proposed development of land for open market residential dwellings at Rockhead, Delabole, Cornwall PL33 9BU.
“The land comprises a section of very gently sloping agricultural land currently in permanent pasture. The land adjoins residential development to the south west (Higher Meadrose) and further residential development along Rockhead Street to the north east.
“The Sketch Plan provided indicates a scheme comprising five open market detached dwellings with sufficient space for parking, garaging, gardens, amenity space and SUDS. Whilst not a definitive plan, this demonstrates that a well thought out and designed scheme fits comfortably within the land identified and is in keeping with surrounding development.”
