AN aspiring young actor from The Petersfield School has become the latest recipient of the town's coveted Daniel Day Lewis award.

Named after the celebrated actor in recognition of his time in Steep as a past pupil of Bedales School and his globally-recognised acting success, the award was presented to 16-year-old Phoebe McCallan by outgoing mayor Sue Harwood at the annual Petersfield town meeting.
