LORD Bramall has been questioned by police investigating claims of historical child abuse.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed a man in his 90s was interviewed under caution as part of its Operation Midland after agreeing to attend a police station near Farnham.
Lord Bramall, 91, the UK's once highest-ranking soldier and a long-time Crondall resident, reportedly spent nearly two hours at the police station but was not arrested.
It comes after his stone cottage was searched by the Met in March as part of the force's investigation into an alleged paedophile ring involving MPs and other establishment figures dating back 30 years.
