POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a pedestrian from Launceston was involved in a road traffic collision involving a car in Plymouth city centre.
Officers were called shortly before 11.15am on Monday, June 10, to Coburg Street where a collision had taken place at a pedestrian crossing near to the James Street junction.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “The pedestrian, a 19-year-old woman from the Launceston area, was taken to Derriford Hospital where she is being treated for injuries which are considered to be life-threatening. The driver, a man in his 40s from the Plymouth area, was uninjured.”
