In the Teignmouth Post last week you carried this photo of the point car park in Teignmouth, and underneath it said 'car park chaos'. The lower point cark, has five or maybe six spaces with rowing boats in.
I have to pay £400 a year for a permit to park my car, so I contacted Teignbridge parking services to see if these spaces are being paid for. the reply I got was that it is commercially sensitive and would not tell me. I have since applied under the freedom of information act, for them to tell me, but as of yet not heard from them.
Parking has always been a problem in Teignmouth, yet on a busy Easter weekend, visitors could not get parked, not being helped by rowing boats in car park spaces.
