CAMELFORD Community Primary School has been praised as an 'outstanding school with an exceptionally welcoming ethos whose staff are doing everything they can to help their pupils to progress', in a glowing report from Ofsted Inspectors.

The report also highlights the 'outstanding teaching, the outstanding care, support and guidance offered to all pupils', and supports the views of parents who told inspectors: 'This school is brilliant and the teachers do a fantastic job'.

The report stated: 'This is an outstanding school which takes great pride in its exceptionally welcoming and inclusive ethos. The heart of its work is the way that it values each one of its pupils and fully understands them as individuals. It has a vibrant atmosphere and staff are unrelenting in their efforts to help pupils to progress.

'Good progress continues throughout the school for all learners. The outstanding outcomes achieved by the school have been made possible by teaching that is of the highest quality. Pupils receive excellent care through the nurturing ethos that exists at the school.'
