Class 1 Orielton School pupils recently enjoyed a day down on the farm with one of their classmates.

The visit to Fred's farm gave the children the opportunity to meet some of the animals and see some of the equipment that they had been studying at school.

Kate James, Class 1 teacher, said: "We like to make the most of being a school at the heart of a rural community and a visit to a local farm presents lots of opportunities to enhance classroom work."
