Since winning West Mercia Police's Good Young Citizen Award, in October last year, 11-year old Olivia Lerego-Jenkins, from Ross-on-Wye, is as determined as ever to raise money for a charity close to her heart, with the Blacklight Cheltenham Run fast approaching on the Saturday, May 2nd.
Olivia will run five kilometers around Cheltenham race course. During the run, at various points, marshalls throw powdered glow-in-the-dark paint over the runners, and after the race there is an after party, where the entrants will get to see the full effect of the powdered paint under neon lights.
Olivia will run with her team, NATS, which stands for 'New At This Stuff.' The team compromises of Olivia, her mother, Hannah Lerego, her uncle, Alex Lerego, her mum's partner, Steve Oliver, and his 11-year-old daughter Lauren Oliver.
