THE shock announcement of the sudden closure of a Petersfield nursery school led to a protest picnic for children and their parents this week.

It is understood that last week all parents of the 60 children on the roll received an e-mail saying that the Causeway House Nursery, on The Causeway, would be closing next month, leaving parents with just four weeks to find another facility for their young children.
