THE Hi-5Talktime Cafe raised nearly £300 at their cream tea fundraiser at Bangors, Poundstock on Sunday, October 3.

A Hi5Talktime spokesperson told the Post: “Despite the weather, illness and petrol situation, we managed to raise £286.80. Thanks to all the great volunteers, families and guests for the donations of delicious homemade scones, jam, cream, tombola prizes and their time helping us.

“Also a big shout out to Morrisons for their generous donation of food, drink and extra Tombola prizes. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
