Permission was unanimously granted for East Hampshire's largest ever planning application, which will see Whitehill and Bordon transformed by 2,400 homes, shops and a town centre, at Thursday's district council planning committee meeting.
Residents heard that, with resulting funding from this application, as well as the previously rubber-stamped Louisburg and Quebec developments, a raft of traffic mitigation measures will be introduced to ease the impact.
