the area is to benefit from millions of pounds of road improve­ments as part of the Whitehill and Bordon regeneration.

Permission was unanimously granted for East Hampshire's largest ever planning application, which will see Whitehill and Bordon transformed by 2,400 homes, shops and a town centre, at Thursday's district council planning committee meeting.

Residents heard that, with resulting funding from this application, as well as the previously rubber-stamped Louisburg and Quebec developments, a raft of traffic mitigation measures will be introduced to ease the impact.
