A PROJECT at Sir James Smith's School, Camelford, which has overcome two types of vandalism, is now showing real green shoots.

Human vandals damaged a polytunnel, erected as part of the school's 'Garden Project', on three occasions during the recent holidays. The plastic was ripped and staging was destroyed.

However, the police were informed, the rips mended with tape and the staging is now home to thriving pea and bean plants.
