NEW play equipment will be installed in the children's play areas in Sutton Field and Firgrove in Whitehill.

Whitehill Town Council awarded the two contracts at its amenities committee meeting last Tuesday, after reviewing the results of a public consultation event held in February.

The two projects, totalling more than £100,000, are possible thanks to £78,000 from East Hampshire Dist-rict Council developer contributions for open space and £35,000 from Whitehill Town Council.
