FOLLOWING renovation work, Lifton Primary School has now gained a lovely new library for the children to enjoy.

The school aimed to create an inspiring space, which instills a lifelong passion for reading and research.

The new space features a comfy reading area, where the children can enjoy a relaxing environment whilst delving into an interesting book, as well as new resources and exciting displays.

Headteacher Melanie Cripps praised the staff and children for all their hard work to getting the new library ready, with the entire school being delighted with the result.

Mrs Cripps said: “The library got the ‘wow’ reaction from the children that it deserves. The library will continue to develop, and through this, it will engage learners in the joy of reading.”
