CAMELFORD Town Council has welcomed its newest members of staff as it embarks on taking over the library service from April 4.

This is in addition to existing library staff, Bronwen Hockerday.

Scarlett Sage is the new library and administration assistant, while Samantha Emery and Olivia Ferguson are the new Saturday library and administration assistants.

All new members of staff will start their training this month.

Camelford Town Council hopes to enhance the services provided and are looking forward to introducing new clubs and activities to encourage more users to the library over the coming weeks and months.

The town council has also changed address to Town Hall, Market Place, PL32 9PD. The telephone number remains 01840 212880.

As of April 4, Camelford Library and Information Service will be managed by the town council, but will remain part of the countywide library service.

This means customers will keep their existing library cards and will still be able to visit, borrow and order books online from other libraries in Cornwall.
