BUDE’S branch of the Royal Naval association has elected a new chair at its recent AGM.
At the Annual General Meeting, Tony Gibbs was elected, succeeding Steve Cowling
With a 37-year career in the Royal Navy, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Tony Gibbs brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Beyond his military service, Mr Gibbs has also served as a Town Councillor and chair of the Town Team.
In his inaugural address to members, Gibbs expressed gratitude to his predecessor and outlined his vision for the future, emphasising the importance of camaraderie and social cohesion within the association. He plans to implement a comprehensive social programme and enhance communication channels to better serve the members.
