A motorcyclist may have sustained "serious injury" following a collision at Liftondown this morning.

Police were called to attend a crash at 11am today [May 17] following reports of a crash involving a car and a motorbike at the stretch of road by the Methodist Church towards the A30 slip.

A police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 11am today to Liftondown following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.

"The bike rider has sustained a suspected serious injury.

"Officers are currently awaiting recovery for both vehicles."
