A motorcyclist was killed in a road traffic collision on the A4139 in Penally yesterday (Thursday).

Emergency services were called at 1 am after the man's motorcycle left the road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends at this very sad time."

The man's next of kin have been informed.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen a motorcyclist riding east on the A4139 towards Penally shortly before 1 am yesterday morning to contact them by ringing 101.
