AN 80s charity disco night was held at Holsworthy Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 28.

The organiser, Maria Skinner, with support from family and friends raised just over £4,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research and Devon Air Ambulance.

On the night there was a band, DJ and a fish and chip supper followed by a draw, but fancy dress was optional — an option many chose to take.

The night was a great success and Maria has expressed her thanks to everyone for supporting the event.
