Pupils from Monkton Priory Primary School are pictured with Simon Hart MP during a visit to the House of Commons.

Whilst there, they collected a giant flag that they designed which has been flying in Parliament Square as the culmination of a unique parliamentary project.

The flag was one of 80 selected from designs submitted from all over the UK to be part of a project celebrating the 750th anniversary of the House of Commons.

Mr. Hart said: "It's always a pleasure to welcome Monkton Priory schoolchildren to Parliament, but it was an extra special occasion this time as they were collecting their flag which represented Pembrokeshire during the celebrations.

"They did brilliantly well as their flag was one of only 80 selected out of 500 designs."
