A BODY which was found by police last month in Cinderford has been confirmed as that of missing man Ian Eltringham.
The 35-year-old was last seen on May 13 in the town centre and on May 29 police were called to a deceased male in an area next to Railway Road.
His death is not regarded as suspicious but is currently unexplained.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: "It is believed that Mr Eltringham was last seen in Cinderford town centre on the evening of Wednesday, May 13. We are keen to locate items of property that he is believed to have had with him at around that time, but which are currently unaccounted for.
"The property includes a large, black coloured holdall potentially with white lettering which was believed to contain an iPad, headphones, mobile phone, MP3 and assorted clothing."
