Thursday afternoon saw a packed meeting room at Tabernacle URC, Pembroke, to hear Penally boy Ron Hurlow recall his boyhood wartime memories.

Lively discussions followed and everyone enjoyed a cup of tea afterwards, accompanied by delicious homemade cakes.

Next month's memory sharing will be on Thursday, July 30, at 2.30 pm, with cream cakes and chat.

All are welcome to join us for this informal gathering.

There is no charge, but donations are welcome and go towards the impending renovations.
