Mayor of Pembroke Dock, Clr. Peter Kraus, has said a massive thank you to all those who turned up for the street clean in the town.

"It was nice to have some of the staff from MacDonald's joining us. They did a brilliant job, with lots of bags collected," he said.

McDonald's franchisee, Ron Mounsey, added: "It was great to see everyone come together to take action against litter.

"At McDonald's, we understand the important role we play in making the area a better place.

"Whilst in the first instance we are keen to actively discourage littering, community events like this one help make a big impact on the local area and I would like to thank Mayor Peter Kraus for organising such a successful event .

"When local businesses and community members work together, we are able to achieve so much more and this event is a perfect example of this."
