THE mayor of Launceston has received a letter from The Princess of Wales’ secretary after sending a letter wishing her well amid her chemotherapy treatment.

Cllr Helen Bailey has received a letter, thanking her for her ‘thoughtful letter’, wishing the Princess well.

Miss Natalie Barrows - secretary to the Princess of Wales - said: “While it has been a challenging for the family, I know Her Royal Highness has been incredibly touched by all of the well wishes she has received.

“The Princess would have us pass on her warmest thanks for your message and very best wishes to you and the residents of Launceston.”
