BUDE Rats were spread far and wide on Sunday March.

Bideford Half Marathon — Andrew Medland had a marvellous run and came third in a time of 1:12.

Many of the other Rats also proved how all their hard work through the winter training sessions paid off by achieving PBs. Sean Jack, 1:38, Simon Theakston 1:38, Andy Latter 1:45, Sarah Burnard 1:50, Emma Bartrop 2:02, Jess Lynes 2:05 and Sue Roper 2:07.

Rob Shaw and Mark Ward decided they would rather see a bit of mud and ran The Grizzly, a 20 mile off road multi terrain cross country: Rob 2:58, Mark 3:41.

Bath Half Marathon — There were two city Rats, Ali Migliorini- Stubbs and Max Spence. These two have never met but managed to finish just 20 seconds apart! 1:47.

Basie and Wayne Van Rensburg along with James Cann ran a 51k training run but still managed to run a very impressive 3:58 Duchy Marathon the following day!
