A church in Marhamchurch has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland this week, as trees decorate its halls.

This year, St Marwenne’s Church has organised its own Christmas Tree Festival to not only get into the festive spirit but also raise funds for the church’s maintenance. 

Sarah Short, organiser of the event explained: “I love things all Christmas and I live in the village.

"It is an opportunity to have that festive feeling in a wonderful Cornish church, enjoy all the trees and help support the church. There is no entry free for both the participants and visitors.”

All manner of local organisations have been getting involved and there is a huge variety of trees for visitors to enjoy.
