A crew from Whitchurch along with Water First Responders from Ross-on-Wye and water rescue vehicles from Hereford and South Wales were called to help rescue a man from the River Wye on Saturday, July 4th.
The man had fallen approximately 15 feet into the river in the early hours of Saturday at The Biblins in Whitchurch.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, suffered several injuries, including suspected fractures to his wrist and ankle as well as an injury to his pelvis. He had pain relief administered and was immobilised.
