The public conveniences located on Narberth's Town Moor car park have been nominated for a national award.

The toilets in the town, along with others in the county, have recently been taken over by a private firm Danfo, who last summer refurbished them, made accessible hours and operate a continuous daily cleaning rota.

Clr. Wynne Evans said this was very positive news.

"Many visitors who come to the town usually head for the loo first and make some comment. If the toilets are clean and serviced, then that is a big plus for the town."

Clr. Evans will meet with the Danfo team at their offices in Neyland shortly to thank them.
