A 25-year-old man accused of murdering a Brecon man has appeared before the Crown Court.

Mark Leigh Thomas spoke only to confirm his name during the two minute hearing via the video link at Swansea Crown Court on Wednesday July 8.

Thomas is accused of murdering 31-year-old Craig Thomas Savage during an incident at Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells, in the early hours of Sunday, July 5.

The case was adjourned until September 25 where a plea and case management hearing will take place at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court.
