Filming for what is expected to be a blockbuster based on a best-selling book has been taking place in Pembroke this week.

Shooting for the film based on Jojo Moyes's novel Me Before You, has been taking place in the town with Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, of The Hunger Games series, in the lead roles.

The film, which tells the story of a small town girl who forms a bond with a recently paralysed man she is caring for, also features actor Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films.

In the book, Emilia's character Louisa Clark works in The Buttered Bun tea shop, and a number of premises in Pembroke have been temporarily transformed to fit in with the setting.

The upcoming romantic drama which sees Emilia perform alongside her Game Of Thrones co-star Charles Dance, is set to be released in June, 2016.
